How TEBAZIO works in the body
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease where some of your T- and B-cells get the wrong message and attack the nerves of the CNS, which includes the brain and spinal cord. If these areas become inflamed or damaged, they may form scar tissue. The scars or lesions interfere with important nerve impulses. By blocking the overactive immune cells, inflammation and damage can be limited.

TEBAZIO works differently than other MS therapies. It is believed to block the reproduction of overactive immune cells (including T- and B-cells) that attack and damage the nerves in the central nervous system (CNS). The exact way TEBAZIO works in MS is not known.
